We so enjoyed Jennine and Nick’s wedding. The ceremony was in the beautiful sanctuary of Wesley United Methodist Church on St. Simons Island, GA. We’ve wanted to photograph a wedding there for quite some time and were so glad to be able to.
Both Jennine and Nick were so fun to be around. Even though we were the photographers they treated us like friends. This relationship made photographing them such a fun time for us.
It was a blast guys!

An old friend of mine, Leslie Jeter, wrote an article for the current issue of Golden Isles Magazine called Getting Fit. It profiles 5 individuals in our area who are getting fit in their own ways. She called on me to photograph the individuals for the article at East Beach on St Simons Island.
Three of the people profiled are friends of mine and – along with Leslie – are involved in CrossFit. Earlier in the summer when we had more time we participated in their training and boy did we see improvements right away! I look forward to the slow-down of the fall and hope we can get involved again.
Though only four pictures were used in the article, several more were taken and I thought I’d show those to you all as well for the fun of it.

How can a bride NOT have a beautiful Jekyll Island wedding? This small island is one of the best places in the world to get married. The wedding was set on the lawn overlooking the ocean under Jekyll’s majestic oaks. Daisies in mason jars and accents of green and yellow throughout gave a fresh elegance to the day.
Love and happiness were evident on each of their faces as they saw each other for the first time. A sweet ceremony continued as they appeared lost in excitement and emotion.
The ceremony was followed by a rockin’ reception where the dance floor was filled the entire night. These families definitely know how to throw a great party and dance the night away.
If you haven’t already seen their Christmas engagement photos from last year, you should go check them out. We are so happy that we got to share the excitement of their celebration.
