We shot this wedding over the summer. It was the shortest wedding we’ve shot at just 45 minutes. Maybe 30 people there. Still, it was a beautiful St Simons Island beach wedding.

Raegan’s 1 Year Old Baby Photos on Jekyll Island and St. Simons Island
Tuesday, December 22nd, 2009On two afternoons we got to hang out with an awesome kid named Raegan and be her 1 year old baby photographer. The first day was in Jekyll Island’s Historic District and the second was on St. Simons Island’s East Beach. As you can probably tell, the second set was used for Christmas cards.
One of the best moments was when Raegan, who wasn’t a big fan of the sand, all of a sudden started smiling big. A couple was walking their dog behind us on the beach and Raegan loved it. They stuck around for a couple minutes to keep her smiling (which we really appreciated). As we found out later, it was a fellow local photographer Brooke Roberts who was helping us out. Thanks Brooke!
The Tolmans’ Driftwood Beach Family Session
Tuesday, December 1st, 2009Bad weather didn’t keep the Tolmans from having a fun family photo session on Jekyll Island’s Driftwood Beach. The sky and light were as blah as they could be but a patient family stuck with us as we tried to un-blah the scenes and get this family their portraits. There was one member left out -their beagle who caught a scent right after we started shooting and disappeared in the bushes only to be found an hour after we were finished.
