With only 4 weeks until they mee baby Norah, we joined Blake and Karissa for her maternity session on St Simons Island. My favorite photo of the session was of Karissa with her “hallelujah” tattoo resting next to her baby. Truly a perfect occasion to do as it says and “praise God”.
Back in January we photographed a beautiful wedding. With rain threatening we thought we were going to lose the beautiful photo opportunities that Epworth offers near Lovely Lane Chapel–especially the first look we had planned by the fountain. As it turns out, Hillary, the adventurous bride she was, wasn’t scared of a little rain. Going back through the photos I realized how much better this first look was with the added intimacy of sharing an umbrella enjoying those moments.
After a beautiful ceremony we made our way to Sea Palms Resort for the reception. As a surprise to the guests the typical father-daughter dance was replaced by a father-daughters “concert” preforming Man of Constant Sorrows from the movie Oh Brother, Where Art Thou?. (Hence the beards)

You know what I never did? Blog this awesome engagement session on St Simons Island in the village! I guess it left my mind after blogging a preview right after the session. When I went looking to show someone their session a couple days after their St Simons Island Wedding, not there! I love these photos so much, I had to post, even if they are a few months late.
Bradi + Alan’s engagement session was on St Simons Island in the village near the pier. Their wedding was to be only a few blocks away at the AW Jones Heritage Center and Lighthouse, so we kept the coastal theme by staying close. They even brought along their cavapoo puppy who also made an appearance in their wedding.
