During a recent trip to St Simons Island, we were again joined by Katie and Michael for a photo session but this time with their two awesome kids! Their Valentine’s Day portraits earlier this year were some of my favorites ever and I was so happy to photograph them and their family again.
The field and the setting sun worked perfectly together during their family portraits session and I couldn’t have asked for a better situation. They were all just plain fun!
After the wedding ceremony we hopped in a 1970 Rolls Royce Shadow to head to Jekyll Island for their wedding reception at Crane Cottage at the Jekyll Island Club Hotel. Mine and Amanda’s favorite part was the way they mixed traditions of the north and the south, mainly hers from Atlanta and his from Boston. You can especially see it in the menu.

The bride and groom said their vows at Wesley United Methodist Church at Frederica on St Simons Island, GA. Throughout the day I was constantly amazed at the details and depth of this wedding. Every piece fit together perfectly.
