For the locals, remember the piece of driftwood turned Christmas tree on the beach near Coastguard? It was our destination right before Christmas for a family Christmas card session with the Van Boxels. We ended the day with perfect weather and lighting and a sunset finale to complete this incredible session.

While in Grand Rapids, Michigan this last weekend photographing a wedding, we also had a session with Kelli and Brandon. The day after the wedding we met up with the groom’s sister and her husband in an old factory in Muskegon just a few minutes from Lake Michigan. (We decided to go see it right after the session but being 25° and crazy windy we decided to look from afar and hurry back to the car)
It was a super-cool location with a couple clearly in love… a perfect combination in my books.
