For the locals, remember the piece of driftwood turned Christmas tree on the beach near Coastguard? It was our destination right before Christmas for a family Christmas card session with the Van Boxels. We ended the day with perfect weather and lighting and a sunset finale to complete this incredible session.
The cuteness was almost too much to bear as Amanda and I chased these little ones around a square in Savannah, GA. Yes, you’ve seen this family before. A few times. :)
I always get excited when the Goldstones ask us to photograph their family again. Between their last session and this one they moved a couple hours away. It was so great to be asked to come join them up there for a session! We LOVE traveling out of the area to sessions. The new places bring out something new in our creativity.
We don’t often have the opportunity to both shoot at the same time. Many of our sessions, like those at the beach, are in difficult environmental situations where Amanda’s job is to keep our flash from flying away. So having her able to shoot in perfect situations like this is a blessing. I love getting back to the office and downloading her images to see what kind of crazy cool images she made.
