Amanda and I joined Rachel and Grayson at a stable in Jesup, GA for one of my favorite e-sessions ever! Between her spoiled-rotten show horse Rhett, the picnic with vintage sodas and candy, and their love – we had a recipe for a gorgeous session. Heading out into the pasture and then the forest gave us some of the coolest locations ever.
Looking back through this engagement session reminded me how excited I am to be their wedding photographer! See you two in May at Epworth!
Recently joining the ranks of parenthood has really taken my fondness of babies up a notch or hundred. Having one of my own and knowing how happy it makes me to have beautiful photos of her makes me want to give others that same experience. So when some friends of ours had their baby 10 days after us (on Amanda’s birthday), we knew we had to have a newborn session with Harper!
It turned out so wonderfully! Harper is adorable and, as you can see, her parents love her so much!
I’ve been slightly distracted lately with my first child Eliana entering the world last month. I’ve been dying get more creative photos of her. I was inspired by someone who did something similar with an old camera and finally had the chance today. You might have seen other photos of my baby with a vintage camera (Canon AE-1 P). Well here’s another!
This time it’s a Kodak Duaflex IV Camera, a dual lens camera where you look through the top of the camera to see the picture instead of looking forward like you do in modern camera. It gave me an interesting view by looking backward through the front lens to see my baby on the other side!
