So a few weeks ago we photographed a sweet couple renewing their wedding vows. It was a perfect day with a nice breeze and a beautiful blue sky at the Howard Gilman Memorial Park on the St. Marys Waterfront. This was our first time shooting at this location, and we loved it. There was a beautiful view of the marsh, paths bordered by crepe myrtle – a wonderful location for the ceremony and taking lots of pictures of the couple and their friends and family.

Mallery + Earin’s St. Simons Island Engagement Session
December 1st, 2009We posted Mallery and Earin’s teaser a while ago and never posted the rest. We’re shooting their wedding next weekend so we thought it as about time. As we said in the teaser,
Two shots into this session we knew we were gonna get some amazing images. Laid back, easy going, and fun, Mallery and Earin made photographing them a breeze. We began their engagement photos at Epworth by the Sea on St. Simons Island. It’s such a beautiful place for photos. We then headed to the St. Simons Pier and Village area to take advantage of all it has to offer. The sunset that night blew us away.
Here are our favorites from their engagement session.

The Tolmans’ Driftwood Beach Family Session
December 1st, 2009Bad weather didn’t keep the Tolmans from having a fun family photo session on Jekyll Island’s Driftwood Beach. The sky and light were as blah as they could be but a patient family stuck with us as we tried to un-blah the scenes and get this family their portraits. There was one member left out -their beagle who caught a scent right after we started shooting and disappeared in the bushes only to be found an hour after we were finished.

Thanks for the great pictures! I just now have to decide what size pictures I want:-)
Yes, Stan had to venture in the marsh area for our dog. He was not happy, but she was just happy as could be playing in the muddy water!

Great photos!
