Wedding FAQ – Frequently Asked Questions

Are you available for my wedding?
I hope we are! It would be amazing to spend the day with you capturing your wedding. Contact us to see if we’re available. (Hurry. We fill up quickly!)

Do you travel for weddings?
Yes. And we love photographing in new places! The only additional fees for destination weddings are for our airfare, lodging, and care rental – if any are necessary.

How much do you charge?
Our wedding collections (or packages) start at $2200 and the sky is the limit. Everything we offer is customizable to your unique wedding. For details on these collections or to arrange a meeting to discuss this further, contact us.

Can we meet you in person to discuss our wedding?
Of course! We would love that!

But we’re having a short wedding or elopement and only need you for a short time…
These small, intimate weddings have such a charm about them that we love to photograph. Every collection is built custom to the needs of the day. Contact us to give us the details and we’ll develop the right collection for you.

Do I receive the digital negatives on disk after the wedding?
If you’d like, a disk of images can be added to any of our collections that don’t already include one.

Will my photos be retouched?
Yes. We carefully retouch every image that will be included in prints, books, or an image disk.

How many images are provided to choose from?
I would love to be able to tell you ahead of time but since each wedding is different in both content and length the number is variable. We do promise to provide every possible image we can.

What is the turnaround time after our wedding?
3 weeks after wedding – Images will be online for proofing and ordering.
Books are delivered about 5 weeks after they are completed.
Prints are delivered about a week after ordering

How many photographers will be capturing my wedding?
Two. Chris Moncus Photography is the husband and wife team of Chris and Amanda Moncus. Having two photographers gives you complete coverage of your day and provides an additional perspective to your images.

Are you shooting film or digital?
We use professional, digital Canon cameras, lenses, and flashes.
