Amanda and I are incredibly honored by the support from our community. For the fourth year, our community has named us Elegant Island Living Magazine’s “Best of the Golden Isles” Best Wedding Photographer and our first Best Family Photographer for 2016! We are so excited for these honors and the love we’ve felt from the Golden Isles.
It was a perfect day. Sunset at Driftwood Beach at high tide with the waves crashing among the trees in the background of this amazing session. And as much planning as went into it, we couldn’t plan for or expect the rainbow we got!
While here for a Jekyll Island birding conference, Bryan asked Amy to go on a sunset beach walk. You’ll see in the pictures that this avid birder was ready with her binoculars. I absolutely love that about the photos!
She said yes and we are so excited for these two!
As many times as we photograph over on Jekyll Island, it never ceases to amaze me with its beauty and how every time it seems to be just a little bit different.
Brigid was so fun and had some really great ideas for her session. She even asked to climb a several-hundred year old oak for some amazing pictures!
Amanda and I had a wonderful time photographing and enjoying the St. Simons Land Trust oyster roast earlier this month! As the SSLT Photography partner, we get to help protect the island for this and future generations.
Congrats Mary and Chris!
We met on an oak-lined dirt road on Jekyll Island for their destination elopement yesterday. It was amazing to photograph this small, beautiful wedding with their kids and her mom attending. And of course we went to the beautiful Driftwood Beach afterward!
It was also wonderful to work with Carla of St. Simons Elopements again!
Sarah was the best! She was incredibly fun and made this session wonderful. I loved each of her outfits and the joy she brought.
We started on St Simons at the lighthouse. It’s such a great area for its variety and history. The recent preservation efforts have really made it beautiful. Next we headed to the Avenue of the Oaks outside Sea Island’s Lodge and golf courses. Such an amazing area also rich in history.
Then we travelled over to Jekyll Island’s Driftwood Beach for one of our most iconic scenes. This beach is a joy to photograph on and give our seniors so many options.
It’s not to late or too early for a senior portrait session. Give us a call, we’d love to chat with you.
(Chris’ Note: Once again, Amanda rocked a senior portrait session! She is such a wonderful photographer and these girls have the best time with her!)
